During my recent stay at this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by a number of positive aspects. the hotel offers great value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. Secondly, the attention to detail in this hotel is commendable, from the beautiful gardens to the well-maintained rooms. Additionally, the location of this hotel, nestled on a pretty hillside, provides a stunning view that is truly breathtaking. Lastly, the breakfast served on the roof terrace is a delightful way to start the day, allowing guests to enjoy the scenic surroundings. As some previous guests have mentioned, I must agree that having a room with a balcony and a view was a definite highlight. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the serene atmosphere.
My experience at this hotel was exceptional and I found no areas that needed improvement.

Beautiful view at a bay and seaside mountains, hotel restaurant with a good Italian food, open swimming room open late in the afternoon, perfect location and a vast parking.
The hotel offers rooms in two buildings: the 1st one is a new regular hotel while the 2nd one is a historical 17th century building of a very attractive and beautiful architecture. Unfortunately, rooms in the latter one are dark due to very small windows and are not equipped with air conditioning devices. One can like this choice due to his/her preferrences but should be aware of it.

The hotel is in a stunning location, nestled in a charming agricultural area just a short drive from Erice town centre. the quiet and elegant atmosphere is perfect for those who want to relax and unwind. Rooms in the new part offer breathtaking sea views, while the older part boasts gorgeous grounds to explore. Some previous guests commended the quality of food in the hotel's restaurant and the standard of the rooms.
Some visitors were disappointed with the level of service provided.

Friendly and helpful staff. Spaciousness of bedroom and roof terrace. Lovely view from terraces and restaurant. New wing blends in well with old Baglio building.
Our room was hot and airless. Central system airconditioning was not yet turned on and we had a french window which for security reasons we could not open during the night. The only ventilation was a tiny window about five foot high (which was also therefore a risk from intruders). Our room gave onto side terrace, easily accessed unobserved. I did ask for a fan or free standing aircon system, but none was offered.

I found the staff very helpful. It was spotlessly clean and offered a good nights accomodation and a hearty breakfast. It was very convenient for Trapani
I would recommend the hotel for 2 nights or so and it did not have all teh creature comforts in the room that I would require on a longer stay

The food was very good and the swimming pool refreshing. The staff was helpful with directions to nearby landmarks and sightseeing spots. The location was perfect for exploring surrounding areas like Segesta and Selinunte.
The rooms were not as advertised and seemed outdated. The bathroom was very basic and there were issues with hot water. The staff was not very friendly or accommodating, which put a damper on the holiday spirit. I would not recommend staying here.

The view was fantastic but cost an extra 10 euros per person!
The breakfast buffet offered little choice and was not very good. The restaurant food was mediocre although the service was efficient.

Not obvious to find.

Fantastic views, delicious food and excellent facilities
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. One of the best things about it was the stunning view overlooking the sea. The hotel's restaurant was a real highlight, with delicious food at very affordable prices. The swimming pool and garden were also lovely, making for a really relaxing and enjoyable stay.
No. The service at this hotel could be improved. While the staff were polite and friendly, I felt that they could have been more proactive and attentive to guests' needs.

The hotel has indeed magnificent views, good amenities (swimming pool, own restaurant, beautiful garden, airco in the new rooms) and professional staff. It is definitely a good location to explore the west part of Sicily, with a number of attractions within 1 hour or so driving distance (the saline in Trapani, Erice medieval city, Segesta Greek ruines, Palermo, Scopello, San Vito lo Capo etc) - provided, or course, you plan to rent a car - othewise, mobility is fairly limited, especially during hot summer days (getting close to 38 C sometimes), not easy to reach a sea beach by foot.
We offered the hotel some services improvements suggestions, including joining the "environmentally friendly hotels" programme (towels and sheets re-use initiatives, if guests requests so, rather than daily change) and raising the bar in the quality of the restaurant (both staff wise and adding a written dessert menu, plus signing bill at end of every dinner, rather than a bulk note at the end of the stay). Adding transfer from / to the airport as well as the sea beach and offering evening social events by the poolcould sharply improve the vacation experience of guests at Baglio Santacroce.

I spent a lovely weekend at a charming hotel where I truly felt like a local. One of the best aspects was the stunning view of the coast from my room. The restaurant was fantastic, and I enjoyed trying the fixed price tourist menu and the pizzas. On top of that, it was great to see the majority of the clients were locals or Italians on holiday.
The rooms in the old section were quite small, and they did not have air conditioning. This was fine for me, as I enjoyed having the window open to the fresh air, but my friend found it hard to sleep.
